About Louise Murphy Jewellery
Louise Murphy Jewellery is inspired by the idea that jewellery should be something you never need to take off. It's designed to be worn on every occasion, be it a quick coffee with a friend, or 'out out'! Wear the pieces alone, or layer and stack to create more of a statement.
Using high-quality craftsmanship and responsibly sourced materials, I create beautiful pieces of jewellery that are simple yet striking and timeless. All pieces are handmade by me in small batches in a Somerset studio just south of Bristol.
All things eco and sustainable are important; with that in mind, the jewellery is made from recycled silver wherever possible, and all packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable.
With a focus on quality and sustainability, my jewellery is made to last a lifetime.
A little bit of background info: After completing a degree in Jewellery Design at Middlesex University many moons ago, I worked as a maker, workshop manager, and production manager for various London-based jewellers. After my second child, I took a break from work in 2016 but decided to set up Louise Murphy Jewellery when I realised that I didn't want to lose myself just being a parent. Jewellery is all I have ever worked in, and the excitement I get when creating new pieces will never get dull! It's been a long time coming to get to this stage; juggling kids, various animals, and a relocation made it a bit tricky to get the time I needed to create a collection. But I'm excited to finally be there, and I can't wait to see where this takes me!
